I have 463 hours in the Mooney with my Commercial, Instrument and multi engine ratings. Many flights to Florida in the Mooney and both commercial and instrument ratings completed using the Mooney. In training for CFI currently.

Welcome back to the forum, 4 years! Time has flown, literally and figuratively. Thanks for checking back in and giving a quick update, as someone who actively has partaken events with recruiters, if your goal is to get to a regional (further major), take some opportunity to build actual instrument time (safely). Many training departments right now are looking at candidates with instrument skills due to the environment and operation that we fly in and around everyday of our lives.

Nice! Are you filing IFR flight plans on those trips to Florida? That’s a great way to maximize that quality time.
CFI school is tricky but so worth it. Are you planning on instructing in the Mooney at a local airport?

I file IFR every flight I take that’s more than an hour. Building. I think I’ll work for local FBO but able to check out any pilots wanting to buy a Mooney.
Always file IFR any trips I take I know that’s a big deal for IFR time.
