We’ve all experienced the food that is served by catering on our flights but what do you guys think of this food. I have read multiple topics about the food on layovers but nothing from on the aircraft. Is there something that is a favorite for you or do you despise it all. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I’ve always been a fan of airline food, at least the First Class menu (which is what we get at my airline). To me it’s like slightly elevated school lunch. Not particularly healthy but pretty tasty and the price is right.

Do you have to pay for your own food while in flight?

At my airline we get crew meals provided to us at no charge if the flight meets certain criteria, such as tie of departure or length of flight. We are served first class meals. I find most of the food to be decent. Not great, but decent.
