I feel like I have a love for airplanes and aviation, but is there anything I can do to actually prove that I am interested besides a discovery flight? Because I wanna take my discovery flight from ATP but I have to be at least 18, and I’m only 14 right now.
Go to your local flight school and take a lesson. Also seek out your local Civil Air Patrol (http://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/). The CAP is the Air Force Auxilary (no you’re not joining the military nor do you have to) and it’s sort of like the Boy Scouts with airplanes. They have some great educational programs and they will take you flying (you can even get your Private License with them for ridiculously cheap). Check them out.
