Where are most airlines based? I’m local to Memphis, TN. I believe I’ve seen southwest, United and fed ex. I guess I’m wondering if it is possible that I could base out of Memphis if I got a commercial job

Different airlines have bases all across the country. That said I believe only FedEx has a BNE base? The good thing is as a pilot you can commute from literally anywhere. The bad thing is as a pilot you can commute from anywhere

Airlines have bases all over the country and the world. To my knowledge, the only one with bases in MEM is FedEx. Check out the link Adam gave you as it shows all of the airline bases in the US.
