To all the pilots on this forum, what was your biggest personal struggle while in flight school, whatever it may be? I’m curious to get your thoughts. Thanks.
Partial panel instrument training. I didn’t think I would ever get it, but things eventually clicked.
I don’t mean which rating was the hardest. I mean mentally. Was it fear a failure? Self-Doubt? etc.
Imran,
In the beginning, it was fear of failure. After passing my second check ride that fear started to fade. After that it was just a matter of keeping up with the pace.

Imran,
Initial CFI. To me that was a bear. 4hr oral where pretty much everything is fair game. Fear of failure really didn’t kick in till I got to the airlines, but that simply motivated me to work harder.
