hi, for the people that use forefllight, do you need a cellular plan on your ipad or does using your phones hot spot work?

It is recommended to buy the iPad with cellular capability, but the data plan doesn’t need to be activated. The cellular capability allows for gps tracking which is helpful for situational awareness.
