Quick question, I was wondering, what are your thoughts on fast tracked CFI programs. Personally I got some places picked out but was wondering what your thoughts were on these types of places.
That’s a very broad question. What are your thoughts on cheap sushi? There’s a little place around the corner that’s great but the stuff at the gas station is suspect.
There’s nothing wrong with fast track or accelerated programs provided they’re done well. It’s the way the airlines and the military train. Provided the school has a good track record and experience it’s actually a good thing.
I see nothing wrong with fast paced programs, as long as the school has a history of successfully turning out CFIs.
Could you be more specific? Or are you just asking if they’re a good or bad idea?
In general they require you to be prepared when you show up. You should be as ready as possible to take your check ride before you start. The success rate of the program matters too.
