How strict is the min 80 hours requirement?

** noun | re·quire·ment | \ ri-ˈkwī(-ə)r-mənt \ **
Definition of requirement: something required: something essential to the existence or occurrence of something else : condition ·failed to meet the school’s requirements for graduation

Strict. It is an FAA requirement for the commercial license. Call the admissions department, sometimes they are able to offer time building programs for those who need more hours.

Thanks for that definition. I should’ve specified a bit more since the timeline says “prerequisite” and not “required.” I’ve been able to take classes without the required prerequisite, with professor approval. I was more so wondering if the training was conducted under part 61, which would make more sense about the hours timeline. With a little research I was able to answer my own question, thanks Adam and Chris.
