Can I select the location I want to be a Flight Instructor after I complete my learning at ATP. Or are you selecting 3 you like best and then they assign you. Sorry in advance if you have answered this about 300 times.
1a. Is it safe to assume that hours might be obtained quicker at southern locations due to more favorable weather?
Does the ATP schooling have beginning dates every month or are is it set up more with set dates like a college?

Welcome to the forums, let’s get to your questions.
When you are nearing completion of the program, ATP will advise you of the available locations to instruct and you can choose from amongst them. Keep in mind, that if you do not initially get your desired location, you can always put in a transfer request later. I would not worry about obtaining more or less hours at certain locations as each location has its own challenges.
Class dates begin every few weeks, call the admissions department for specifics.
