Does a smaller loan affect tuition reimbursement amount?

Hi!
I’ll probably be asking an admissions officer this question, but thought it couldn’t hurt to ask here as well.

In terms of loans and the tuition reimbursement partnerships and programs, I was wondering if I were to take out a smaller loan (i.e. $30,000), would I still be eligible for the reimbursement program? And if so, would I be reimbursed for the same amount as someone taking out a $80,000 loan (ATP advertises it as being valued ~ $11,000), or is it based off of a percentage of the loan amount?

Thanks!
Lauren

Lauren,

I would assume the answer to both would be YES because it’s “Tuition Reimbursement” not loan reimbursement. The airlines are trying to help with the cost of training so how you financed your training shouldn’t matter. That said you should of course check with admin but again I’d be surprised if the answer were no.

Lauren,

It’s the same amount regardless of the loan’s size.

Lauren,

Yes, you would be eligible for the full amount.
