Financial Assistance Outside of Loans?

Hey, everybody!

I’ve been searching for spots outside of loans (scholarships, grants, etc.) but haven’t found any for programs outside of four year universities or privately obtaining ratings. Has anyone else had luck with securing any of the latter for ATP?

Bailey,

I am not aware of any significant scholarships or grants for flight training. Most people finance their flight training through a lender. ATP works with Wells Fargo and Sallie Mae.

Are you a member of the Woman in Aviation group (Facebook)? They just recently listed all of the available scholarships they have. When I came upon the list, though, I was pressed for time so didn’t get to read the fine print.
