Housing and Pay

Hey, I was thinking about living at the atp housing sometime in the future, and rent would be around $1800~ a month if I want to live alone. And my question was would one job as a CFI cover for it, or would I need a second job.
Thanks

Sahar,

Not sure what you mean by “sometime” in the future? ATP housing is for ATP students and instructors only so “in the future” would be while you’re in the program or instructing. ATP instructors are required to work full-time so you would not be able to work a second job. The salary should be enough to cover the rent.

Also keep in mind you would not be living alone, just have your own bedroom.

Sahar,

Being an ATP instructor is a full time position, you will not have time for a second job. I would suggest getting comfortable with sharing a room. I have done it, while it certainly was not my favorite thing that I have ever done, it got the job done.

Sahar,

Update: ATP housing is available for students, not instructors. The word on the street is that most instructors go in together on housing.
