I am 33 years old and I have been trying to finish my flight training. I have a full time job and a family of three. I have been looking into loans and just can’t find a way to take out the loans I need and be able to make enough money to live on and pay the loans back during and after my training. Any Ideas of a way to make it through would be appreciated.

The cost of training is an obstacle for many people and there are no simple answers. For most loans seem to work. If that’s isn’t an option it might just be a matter if tightening your belt, saving and waiting till you can.

When faced with your situation people often have to go a different route, which is doing flight training slowly at a smaller school. It is not efficient and will probably cost you more in the long run, but it is certainly a workable path.
Your other option would be to save until you are able to pay enough in cash that your requested loan amount is smaller.
