Intro Flight, Regional Requirements, and wait time to get into the program

quick questions

  1. so the intro flight age requirement is 18 years old correct?
  2. Do you need to be 23 to work at the regionals? I have been reading about this R-ATP thing you can get and that will allow to work at that regionals at 21? Or am I mistaken?
  3. Say I registered today at the Phoenix location for example, how long would it take me to get into the program?

Carson,

  1. Correct

  2. Yes, provided you meet all the ATP requirements, you can receive an R-ATP at 21 and fly for a Regional. You would not however be able to upgrade to you’re 23.

  3. If you’re financing, that would obviously need to be approved. Beyond that is simply a matter of start date availability.

Gotcha, okay. Being under 18 am I still aloud to just tour the facility without an intro flight just to see what it’s like? (I am 17)

Carson,

I don’t see why not. You’d have to contact admin and ask for sure.
