If you are still unsure if flying will be the right career for you, I would recommend getting your PPL outside of ATP and then continuing on with an accelerated program if you then decide that you want to fly for a career. That way if you decide not to fly, you will not have that much money invested in flying.
The feelings that you are describing are common for many new pilots and usually go away with time. I think that by the end of PPL training, you will know exactly which way you want to go career wise.
