Location Closing

This might be a silly question, but what happens if ATP decides to close a location you are training at, mid-training? Would they move you to a new location, or keep it open until you finish?
The location I’m considering is very small (2 instructors), so I would assume it would be at risk of closing if demand declined.

Ben,

I’m not sure, but that’s not necessarily true. I worked at two locations, RAL and HWD, both only had one instructor running the entire operation. By the time I left, each location had actually grown, so much so that HWD relocated to LVK.

I also taught at SAC, which also has since expanded and the training center got a nice renovation.

Point being, don’t judge a book by its cover.

Ben,

ATP has been doing this for longer than you’ve been alive and they’ve got it down. With that in mind ATP admin doesn’t just wake up one morning and say “let’s close XYZ, sorry students who just invested $90k but you’ll need to move”. If a location needs to be closed this is info they know well before. They would stop enrolling students well prior. Long short it shouldn’t be a concern.

Ben,
I wouldn’t worry about this either. They do thorough research before opening a location. If it’s small, it’s likely because it’s new and the big growth hasn’t quite happened yet but it’s predicted to. Regardless, the students come first and they would make sure you were taken care of.
