Is it true that people who wear glasses and have a weak eye sight are not eligible to become a pilot? And secondly what are the fitness and medical requirments to get admission in ATP and to become a pilot?

As long as your vision can be corrected to 20/20 with contacts or glasses, you will be fine to be an airline pilot.
ATP’s physical requirements are a First Class medical and a weight less than 250 lbs.
By the way, I have horrible uncorrected vision and have worn glasses almost my entire career.
