I recommend you do some reading on the forum as there’s tons of great info. In short co-pilot is a term not really used anymore. There are Capts and First Officers. You will start as a Regional (or corporate) FO then upgrade to Capt. After moving to a Major same thing. Start as an FO then upgrade to Capt. How long it takes depends on many many factors. Could be months, could be years, could be decades.
