PSA Cadet Program Application Advice

I am a new private pilot looking to join the PSA Cadet Program. Does anyone know what PSA looks for in a cadet? Given the opportunity, are there specific ways I can be preparing for the HR interview?

Dawson,

While I’m not familiar specifically with PSA’s Cadet program, I’d imagine they look for the same thing any potential employer would. Solid education and or work record, no history of bad behavior and people that will “fit” in with the corporate culture. If that’s you, be yourself, be knowledgeable in the areas you should be (if you’re simply a Private Pilot than you should have good PP and aircraft knowledge), answer questions honestly and you should be fine.

Dawson,

PSA will be looking for a well rounded candidate with a good employment and FAA record, preferably with no criminal record. All of that being said, the most important factor right now seems to be having the minimum flight time required for entry into the program and showing a dedication to building the rest of the 1,500 required hours.
