Resume builder

Hello.
Just read through most all of the resume topics others have posted and didn’t come across the question I have. I was just wondering what is the best way to build your resume? I am currently a student at ATP, but wanted to start to build my resume. I’ve heard volunteer, gain a leadership role, and just keep gaining as many flight hours as possible. Is there anything else that I could do to help boost my resume?

Thank you in advance!

Alyssa,

Airlines like well trained and enthusiastic pilots. I’ve always found aviation related extras play well. Additional ratings or endorsements (AGI, IGI, tailwheel, glider, seaplane, etc), anything you can think of that could possibly cause someone on an interview panel say “cool” is always beneficial.

Alyssa,

Community involvement, helping other pilots, volunteering in the community, extra licenses like your AGI and Gold Seal all help. Of course the big thing is flight hours, so try not to let any of your other activities take away form flying.
