In February I missed a line but 1 seniority number. Quite a bummer, but like we say every day here, “Seniority is everything”.
At SkyWest, we had a pretty substantial reduction in flying. We had targeted line holders for ORD FO’s around 176 for the last few months. In February, target line holders dropped to 156. I was 163 and the last line was awarded to 162. With that being said, I was one of the most senior reserve lines so I had a great schedule with almost all my weekends off. I logged 43 hrs and had 12 days off.
Good news though, I got a line for March!! Bids opened on Feb 10th, this time ORD FO’s targeted was 157 and I was 148.
