Hi, i’m a current high school sophomore and I am seriously considering entering a PPL flight training program at a local flight school in the spring. Do you think I should join a local flight school like the one im considering? Or go the ATP or college route and wait to do my training when I graduate high school. I really don’t know what option would be best for me, My dream is to become a commercial pilot so what route do you think I should take?

Short answer I think it’s a great idea to take a lesson or 2 and see if flying is really something you’d like to do. Beyond that we recommend finishing school and then doing your flight training in an accelerated program like ATPs.
