Which country is best for an airline pilot, US or Australia. In terms of salary, and culture itself
Well since to fly in the US you need to be a US citizen or permanent resident and the same goes for Australia AND since few people possess both I’d argue whichever country you can LEGALLY fly in would be best. As for culture there are currently over 50 airlines in the US (each would it’s own culture) and many in Australia as well that would be a difficult question to answer.
This website is run by US airline pilots, as such our experience is based on flying in the US. I can say this though, I have hears that it can be very difficult to get hired as a pilot in Australia if you do not have citizenship there.
