Hi. First of all want to say this is a great place for pilots to comunícate, second, I would like to know what is the age limit for a pilot to be hired at an airline ? Thank you in advance for any info I could get. CLEAR SKIES FOR ALL OF YOU!!!

Technically the day before you turn 65 is the age limit since the airlines require pilots to retire at 65. Obviously that wouldn’t happen. So to give you an idea, I attended an aviation career forum a few weeks ago. I was talking to a first officer at Alaska, and he said they just hired a 60 year old pilot. We didn’t discuss that individual’s background. All I know is his age.
