More Skyhawks at ATP!

That’s a bummer. What are people doing after timing out instructing with ATP but delayed with training?

Bummer? Not that long ago pilots had to wait till they had 3,000hrs just to get an interview. Many never did but to answer your question they find other flying gigs and bide their time.

Martin,

I’d say they are staying current with their flying skills either flying on their own or finding some temporary work at local flight schools until a class date becomes available.

ATP makes it so easy to go from zero time to CFI to 1500 hours. At that point, it’s time for you to fly the nest. Take initiative on your own, with the skills and experience you have you’re a qualified pilot for most part 135 gigs as well. It’s up to you have you stay current and make the next step happen.
