Airline Training and Military Veterans Assistance?

I am finally going to start my dream of becoming a pilot. I wanted to ask in anyone knows of any programs that off military veterans assistance for tuition costs for the programs?

Hi Derrick,

Congrats on beginning your path. While I don’t any programs that offer “assistance” there are Part 141 programs that can/will accept your VA benefits for training. The problem is due to the nature of 141 training programs they take considerably more time than Part 61 or accelerated programs like ATPs. While I completely understand the desire to save tens of thousands of dollars if you can, airlines careers are based on seniority and the tradeoff is the potential lost earnings by delaying your start.

You can use your GI benefits to pay for examiner fees, which total around $6,600.
