Hello, I am 19 years old and about to attend my second semester of community college. I have always wanted to become a pilot but have become very confused in the process of becoming one. I am currently pursuing a degree in biology. I have a few questions:

  1. Do I go to flight school during my years at community college or do I wait until I get my associates?

  2. Afterwards, what exactly do I do from there? Does it matter which college I transfer to? Where do I get my other hours of flight experience from?

  3. I understand that the road to becoming a pilot is very costly. After community college, how will I be able to afford attending flight school?
