At the location I plan on going to does not offer the 100 hour multi engine program. Is there a big difference between the two beside the time? Will this hurt me?

I recommend the 40 hour program, it is the exact same training and certifications, just for a lot less money. The 100 hour program is designed for those who do not wish to instruct for ATP or who for whatever reason want more multi engine time. You will be just fine with the 40 hour program. In fact, you will even be a bit richer
