What is the best way to find a co-signer if my immediate family isn’t an option?

You may just be out of luck on that one. I can’t imagine co-signing for a loan for somebody that was not in my immediate family. It is a hug responsibility to co-sign and one that not many people will be willing to do.

Not to be negative but the banks, who are in business to loan money and make a tremendous amount of money doing so won’t loan you the money. Now you want someone to guarantee a pretty sizable amount of money if you don’t pay. It’s really alot to ask.
