Hey all! First post here - looking for as much insight as possible as to what the ATP program is like from scratch. I’ve always had the itch to become a pilot but never saw it being feasible…
My background is in the automotive repair sector and now a industrial millwright. Although great career paths they don’t scratch the itch i’ve had.
Im looking for as much information as possible! thank you.
Nick,

Hey Nicholas, ATP Admissions here!
It looks like you have some serious questions and are looking for information on ATP’s Airline career Pilot Program.
Feel free to give us a call at your convenience so that we may better assist you. ATP Admissions is available M-F 8am-7pm EST and our phone number is 904-595-7950.
Nicholas,
The first question we all need an answer to is: Do you have any flight experience in a trainer aircraft? Many individuals come here saying I want to be a pilot yet never have flown in a trainer aircraft, under the supervision of a CFI, and taken the controls of said airplane. Until you do that, you can’t say, “I’ve always had the itch.” It is feasible, tangible and do able.
As Hannah mentioned, browse the forum a bit, there are tons of FAQs already answering a lot of your questions. Please let us know what else you may have in mind.
