Hello! I’m new to the community. I deans only got interested in flying. It’s been something i’ve been thinking about committing to, but new with the process. Was really wondering where to start?? Anything helps and greatly appreciated!

This is a great place to start. I suggest you read through our FAQ section and visit the ATP website where there’s some great info on the process.
First and foremost however before you waste too much time reading and pondering you really need to take an Intro or Discovery flight. While many people think they want to fly, until you’ve actually been up in a small training airplane you really won’t know for certain.

Welcome to the forum! Not only is there a ton of valuable information here throughout all the subcategories, ATP’s website is FULL of knowledge, as Adam linked the domain. Really the FIRST step is taking an introductory/discovery flight and making sure this is something you could handle doing everyday. Flying planes is much different than just flying around with a friend who owns a plane or going on vacation.
