I recently talked to a pilot who had attended ATP flight school but he had to cut the conversation short and I am a little confused with something that he said. He said that sometimes they send you to different locations to fly with someone else that is at the same place in training as you. I would like to know more information about how often this happens and how long it usually lasts. Im sure location will depend on who is where but any information would be awesome. Thanks.

The ATP graduate was likely referring to the cross country phase of your training. He might have been at a smaller location that had less students, so he could have been parred up with a student from another location while he flew his cross country flights, I would say that this is the exception and not the norm. Without knowing the full context of what he was saying it is hard to really speculate though.
