IRA exam- FTN

Hello,

As I was studying for my IRA exam, I noticed an update that beginning next week the FAA will require you to :“starting on the 13th, to take an FAA knowledge test, you must bring your IACRA FTN (FAA Tracking Number) to the testing center with you.”

Now I have not started school yet and do not have a student pilot certificate. I did just now go on iacra and create an account, so now I have an FTN#.
Are they going to want to see an official document with that # on it? (which I can’t get since I have no instructor to approve me)
Or can I just write down this number and bring it with me?

Thanks for the help.

Wesley,

No official FTN document. Just the number.

Simple enough! Thanks Tory
