I am looking to join ATP in the next 6 months or so. Just getting prepared financially.
I have been reading a lot about how to prepare to best set myself up for success. With the next 6 months being dedicated to getting myself in a position to attend ATP with no job, I would like to get my written exams out of the way. From what I understand, when attending ATP I would have access to study materials such as the KING Schools online ground school.
Will ATP reimburse me the nearly $1000 for the king school if I pay out of pocket to pass the written exams? If not what other recommendations do you have as far as study material for the written exams?
I second Adam here. The Kings out out a great product, but Sporty’s Study Buddy and Sheppard Air are your best paths to successfully passing the writtens.
ATP has discontinued the Kings product in recent months, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start studying for your Airmen Knowledge Test (AKT) using the Sporty’s Study Buddy; This one costs $14.99, but I haven’t seen many students using it that aren’t successful on their written. Every written post PAR, you can use Sheppard Air which is the way to go, without a doubt.
