I grew up with airplanes. I have experienced such incredible mentors throughout the years. My biggest mentor started my interest in flying when I was a child. Unfortunately he passed away just before Thanksgiving. He was my Father. Others have been very impressionable and helpful as well. In such a competitive field flying is one that truly carries passion. It is one that lives in your heart. I am hoping each pilot who has experienced mentors commends and remembers them, and has aspirations to spark and maintain that love of flying.

This field would not be what it is if it wasn’t for all those that mentor and bring up the next generation of pilots. Sorry for your loss.
