Never stop learning or trying to improve your knowledge and skills.

I would add to that to always being willing to learn new tings from other pilots.

While I think Adam and Chris’ responses are spot on, I believe never stop loving what you do is important. Aviation is amazing and the reward of being a pilot from meeting new people and traveling to new destinations is one of the best perks of aviation. And, be a good person, in and out of the flightdeck.
