Hey Chris. Which regionals do you see most new United Pilots coming from? And which seems to be the fastest to become a pilot at United? And… Any Flow through to United?

Honestly it is a very wide selection. In the last few weeks, I have flown with pilots that came from ExpressJet, CommutAir, Air Wisconsin and Republic. The company does not seem to favor any one regional, they just want experienced and qualified pilots. It doesn’t seem like any one regional offers a faster path to United.
United does offer the Career Path Program to pilots at CommutAir and ExpressJet. It is kind of like a flow through, but not in the strict sense like American offers to pilots at their regionals.
Bottom line, there are no shortcuts, everybody pays their dues.
