Really? That’s kind of cool. How do pilots such as yourself like that? Would you rather be at a legacy or a JetBlue or southwest type ? I’m sure there are pros and cons to each

It’s really a matter of personal preference and goals. Both Chris and I fly for legacy carriers so I think our choice is pretty clear. For me it was a number of factors but having the ability to fly around the world and also the pay scale is what led me towards a legacy.

I far prefer being a legacy pilot. Unlike JetBlue or Southwest pilots, we have the option of flying wide bodies all over the world. With that comes significantly increased compensation and quality of life. Now to be clear, I would prefer that the legacy carriers did all of their flying in-house, too, but that just isn’t the way it is here.
