All things considered, I decided to move forward with my plan of beginning training in June. It’ll be a couple of years until I’d be looking for an airline job, and I expect that to be more than enough time for the industry to bounce back considerably. A recession is a great time to keep your head down and complete training so that you’re qualified and ready when the airlines are hiring again.
