If you’re talking about ATP, yes you are able to transfer locations under certain circumstances but it’s not recommended. For example, during covid I
Know of students who moved back home with their families but continued training at a location there instead. If you’re planning on doing ATP, I’d think long and hard about where you’d like to spend the whole 9 months and commit.

I am starting flight school where I am (base @ KUAO) and found a school in my typical city that is totally fine transferring my hobbs hours to their school! I am seeing an AME, then starting flight training where I am.
I really really appreciate all your help! It has been invaluable to me making a plan to finish my ticket.
