The following is from a blast mail that was recently sent out by the ATP Alumni Association:
ATP recently had the opportunity to recognize alumni during a reception hosted by the ATP Alumni Association at the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta, GA. Over 300 alumni, instructors, students, and industry representatives from 15 airline partners were in attendance.
That evening, several alumni and friends of ATP were honored and presented with gifts of appreciation for their contributions to the aviation community, including ATP alumni Ashley Ferrari, Thomas Gadoury, Andre Hansen, Lance Larsen, Chris Richardson, Adam Webb, and Sam Wilson.
The hard work and commitment of each ATP team member was also recognized and shared with the industry. Each month our fleet of 490-plus aircraft flies 45,000 hours across 75 locations, and this is only made possible through our shared focus on creating a safety-focused culture for students and instructors. The culmination of our efforts has launched airline careers for 25,000 graduates, including 1,200 placements in just the last 12 months.
The career success of our students starts with their training success, and the ATP Alumni Association reception highlighted just how much of an impact the ATP team has had on the industry, with 15-20% of all regional airline new hires being ATP graduates.
The ATP Alumni Association is a continuation of those efforts, promoting ATP graduates for the best aviation careers. The next alumni event will be a reception hosted during the 2023 Women in Aviation International Conference. In July, the ATP Alumni Association will also host a charity golf tournament in Dana Point, CA. All proceeds will support Angel Flight Soars, which provides free air transportation for passengers needing medical treatment.
