Just a general idea, how much could I expect to earn during my training after becoming a CFI?
Thanks, that is very helpful. Sorry to ask this as well but any idea on the amount of hours usually flown per month?
I am going soon and just trying to figure out my budget until I am able to sell my house etc.
It’s been a few years since I instructed for ATP (Tory can give you a better idea of current numbers) but from what I’ve heard the average is about 75 but many get closer to 100 if they work weekends.
It depends on a few things, but mostly on how much the instructor can
manage. I liked to fly 60 hours/month because I did a lot of ground. But
70-80 hours is a good estimate.
Thanks for your help!
