Checkride Passed

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I passed my PPL checkride. DPE didn’t even have anything to debrief me on. It is only a minor step, and I know that it’s going to get harder from here on out, but it feels good to have one down.

congrats!

Lynn,

Not a minor step at all! You’re now a pilot, something only a fraction of the world’s population can claim. Congrats and kudos!

Lynn,

That is great news! Congratulations!

Thanks for the update, keep them coming.

Chris

Congrats, roughly how many hours did you have logged at the time of your check ride?

Around 60 Hrs. I started in a C-140 (Tail Dragger) so a good amount of time was just trying to learn how to land it. Also, it would have been shorter if I did my PPL through ATP. Most of those hours were spent going over maneuvers I had already learned. I didn’t fly consistently, so I would have to refresh myself on a lot of things until I was ready again. I’ll be starting my instrument with ATP.

Lynn,

Well done! Passing any ride, regardless of level, is always worth celebrating.
