Hey just trying to get as much Info as l can what’s the dot regulations for pilot in terms of flying time for example I’m a commercial driver l drive an 18 wheeler and by the dot regulations we can only be behind the wheel for 11 hours a day then must take 10 hours off is there any similar rules like this one in the FAA for pilot flying for a major airline or something
Pilot flight and duty time limitations are governed by FAR part 117, which is a highly complex set of regulations. The basics though are that pilots can be on duty for 15 hours per day and fly eight of those hours.
