Just passed my instrument airplane checkride. Next week I begin crew, much appreciation from all the support here, and at base. I haven’t posted much because preparing for this ride took so much time from me. But now that I do not have a checkride looming over my schedule for a few weeks, Ill be back with more updates.
For everyone else, keep at it, work hard. You got this! See you next week.
That is awesome news! Congratulations! Enjoy the crew phase. For me that was by far the most enjoyable part of the program, it almost felt like being an airline pilot.
Please keep the updates coming and congrats again!
Many will argue the IR is the most challenging rating this is so kudos on that.
While some might disagree, I’m actually glad you haven’t been posting. I’m my mind is your in the training you really should be either resting or studying. If you’ve got time to post, I guarantee there’s something else you could/should be reading.
Refraining from posting on the forum because you are studying for a checkride is exactly what you should have been doing. It shows good judgement and character, things you will need during crew.
The Instrument Checkride was probably my favorite checkride as per flight, something about flying instruments has its own challenge, but big reward after the accomplishment. It sounds like you made some good ADM not posting on the forum allocating that time to studying.
