Is ATP the best?

Hello,

My name is Trevor, and I’m 16 years old. I have an avid interest in becoming a commercial pilot, however I don’t know the correct path to take. I’m currently gaining hours with a local flight instructor to obtain my PPL before graduating high school. I’ve went through the intro flight, and actually earned several cockpit hours from the training. When I graduate high school, is ATP the best way to go? If I already have my PPL when I start ATP, am I still required to do the 9 months of training before becoming a CFI? Many questions are running through my head, and I’d love to get some answers.
