So I am 4’10 am I too short to be a pilot?

Honestly, I am not sure as that is rather on the short side. You need to be able to fully operate the controls in an airplane, pushing the rudder pedals all the way to full deflection. It might be worth taking a trip out to the local airport and seeing how you fit in a small airplane.

I’d recommend going to your local flight school and doing a introductory lesson. You may be able to get seat cushion to help with your sight picture while adjusting the seat as much as possible.
