My question is what does it take to go to pilot school? I’m 18 , fresh out of high school , and always fell in love with becoming a pilot .

Most local flight schools have no requirements. ATP however has quite a few. This is because after decades of training pilots for the airlines, they recognize that students right out of HS often aren’t ready for the rigors of an accelerated program.

First question to you, do you have any flight experience?
If yes, schedule an Admissions Flight with ATP, check it out, do your research.
If no, you need to schedule a few introductory lessons and really make sure this is something you could see yourself doing. Whether it’s a hobby or dream job.
