Airline Career without Bachelors Degree

I’m closing in on my 1,500 hours and I was curious since I don’t have my Bachelors degree are my chances slimmer of getting a job? And also to become a pilot for FedEx/UPS are they slim to non as well with no bachelors degree.

Lance,

This question gets asked daily. The Majors (and yes FedEx and UPS are Major airlines) want bachelor degrees and yes if you don’t have something that an employer desires your chances go down considerably.

Lance,

Your lack of a degree should not affect your ability to get hired at the regionals.

Without a degree, there is about a 0% chance of getting hired at FedEx or UPS. The good news is that you have a few years while you are building your flight time that you could work on a degree online. Many before you have done this.
