Hey my name is Andre, how is it going, hope everybody is staying safe! I just have a question, knowing that the Industry is changing right before my eyes. Donald Trump just signed a bill saying applicants for federal government jobs will now be vetted based on their skills rather than if they have a relevant college degree. So having that said with the requirements for certain airlines, do you feel is going to change of a 4 year degree being a requirement for certain airlines?

Personally I do not. If anything with the industry slowdown due to the pandemic the airlines will actually be tightening up the requirements. It’s about supply and demand and when the demand goes down the competition increases and the bar gets raised.

I agree with Adam on this. I do not see the college degree requirement ever changing. If anything, it will further be a way for the airlines to separate out candidates. Trump’s policy change applies to government jobs, not the private sector.
